Lisk DAO S2 Grants

Note: All S2 Grant budgets have been fully allocated. No new applications until Season 3 starts in January 2026.

Lisk DAO Season 2 is live until December 17, 2025, running alongside Optimism’s Season 8. This season builds on the foundation of Season 1 and is centered around the theme “Collaborations that drive real-world development.” It focuses on funding builders, rewarding usage, and deepening Lisk’s alignment with the Superchain through transparent, milestone-driven governance.

The LiskDAO Intents

Season 2 is structured around four key goals, each designed to deliver measurable progress across governance, usage, and ecosystem growth:

1. Make contributing to Lisk DAO engaging and rewarding
Increase participation in governance, improve transparency around funding, and grow understanding of Layer 2 economics and treasury operations.

2. Accelerate builders and programs
Provide milestone-based grants and targeted support for developers, tooling, and ecosystem apps across Lisk Mainnet.

3. Grow Lisk’s TVL
Drive adoption of non-LSK assets and expand liquidity through user and developer incentives.

4. Increase Lisk’s contribution to the Superchain
Boost cross-chain volume and increase revenue sharing with the Optimism Collective.

How It Operates

Season 2 is governed by two dedicated councils responsible for execution and oversight:

• ‍Lisk DAO Grants Council:Manages Development and Infrastructure Grants and Ecosystem Incentives. Projects can receive up to 150,000 LSK, depending on scope, with funds released upon milestone completion.‍
• Lisk DAO Steering Committee: Advises on strategy, reviews program outcomes, and ensures transparent reporting throughout the season.

With a total budget of 3.93 million LSK, over 95% is allocated directly to builders, dApps, and ecosystem initiatives. All funding is managed through a multi-signature Superchain Safe controlled by members of both councils.
